Cameo shines the spotlight on ZOOM nightclub

New ZOOM nightclub in Frankfurt, Germany tapped Cameo to add spotlight extravaganza to its revamped look.

Lighting designer, Jojo Tillmann, came up with a Cameo solution for the individual areas of the club, creating a more artistic installation than is typical for this type of environment.

ZOOM’s current setup titled “Space Encompassing Light Art Installation (rGB zOOM), using Cameo’s ZENIT W300, AZOR B1, MOVO BEAM Z100 and PixBar 600 Pro projectors”.

41 ZENIT W300 spotlights are used to add a wide brush, used as area lights and strobes, while the 12 AZOR B1 beam moving heads emphasize the geometry of the room at the central and round lighting device in the middle of the room.

71 MOVO BEAM Z100 beams and eight PixBar 600 Pro ED bars are used to illuminate “the triangle”, simulating the effect of a single ceiling fixture.

The club’s lounge and dining areas house 127 Cameo H1 FC household lamps adding flexible and colorful lighting to the space.

Tillmann said, “In recent years, Cameo has made a big leap from consumer products to professional fixtures. I see this especially with the younger generation of lighting designers, who use Cameo with conviction. At the same time, the price/performance ratio still plays a big role in the choice, as well as its increasing availability from major dry boat rental companies.
